Welcome to the second edition of the CrewZone

It is now season 40 in football, and that brought us an updated version of the Simulator! Apologies to all the hockey fans out there, but this number of the CrewZone will be dedicated to the hot and smoking new sim.

It has been an interesting and eventful season working on this update, and I would like to start by thanking everyone who has helped us test and give feedback*.

All in all, Managers played over 100,000 test matches from v1.01 to v2.02. Version 2.02 was played 18,000 times! And this was done without disturbing the regular day-to-day activities in the game.

The goals we had when we started working on the new version were quite basic. We wanted to make tactics and decisions more important than before. We wanted the game to be more fun to watch. We also wanted reduce the number of games with extreme number of goals.

We knew that this was going to shake things up a bit, especially since we have been stuck with the old version for such a long time, but we really needed to renew the game again.

This is just one update, and it is not the final one. We will continue updating the simulator, just as we will continue to update the other parts of the game.
