Getting started with tactics

With the update, we have now opened up the possibility to experiment more with different formations and the three different styles of play.

Previously we have seen tactics evolve into very compact and central formations, avoiding wing play or long ball.

Here are two examples of the typical compact formations used in the old Simulator.

To help you better understand how to use the new tactical options, we will illustrate a few different tactics and show how to play to the strengths of your players; both are key to winning matches.

Remember, that the other styles of play are now more viable than before, when "Short Passing" was the dominating style.  Tactics alone do not guarantee success, you need the right players too.

Please note that the following suggestions are examples, which we hope will inspire your own ideas. There is no “correct way” to play ManagerZone. Your playing style won’t be complete until you’ve added your own individual flavor and experience to it.
