Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, U21 Malaysia's Haikal Alexander got control of the ball when Miroslav Pristavkin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dmitriy Medvedev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jojo Prima in the 57th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Jojo Prima made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Donny Febrian might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dmitriy Medvedev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donny Febrian ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the U21 Kazakhstan players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for U21 Malaysia.
