The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augustus Combs to strike the kick off in the second half. CS Impact de Montreal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augustus Combs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The CS Impact de Montreal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Crimson Knights were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
