Spectators: 9000 (Terracing: 6750, Seating: 2070, VIP seats: 180) Ben Diest started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Runar Myrland took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Terence Cowan. Terence Cowan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Crimson Knights's Connie Lyon was substituted for Chester Benitez. When Antal Fodor came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Topsail fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Fodor couldn't finish the play. Terence Cowan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Fodor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duane Rose kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Terence Cowan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Fodor in the 21st minute of the match. Wei Guang Yun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Carmichael having to interfere. Crimson Knights's Terence Cowan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Weather in the 29th minute of play. In the 38th minute Napoleon Zdrojewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Carmichael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Topsail's Bill Carmichael got control of the ball when Wei Guang Yun tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 42 played minutes Crimson Knights got a freekick which was hit by Ben Diest. Terence Cowan came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Topsail's Antal Fodor. But to his dismay, Antal Fodor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Crimson Knights players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Topsail were winning 1-2.

Topsail's 宋永坤 was substituted for Calvin Diggs. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Fodor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Runar Myrland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terence Cowan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bill Carmichael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Pele in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Topsail getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Max Darby hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Terence Cowan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Terence Cowan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Fodor, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Terence Cowan was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Max Darby capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Max Darby really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Topsail's Santos Griffin was substituted for Amador Weather. Bill Carmichael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wei Guang Yun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Santos Griffin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Terence Cowan. That made the score 1-4 in the 71 minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Santos Griffin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Terence Cowan. Santos Griffin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. 83 minutes into the match, Crimson Knights's goalkeeper Terence Cowan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Runar Myrland. In the 85th minute Ben Diest shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Carmichael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, one of Crimson Knights:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Crimson Knights. Terence Cowan had in the 99thth minute some difficulties stopping Fabrizio Petrucci's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Topsail played a much better game than Crimson Knights and deserved their victory. The Crimson Knights players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
