Crimson Knights's Napoleon Zdrojewski got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute of the match Crimson Knights got a corner. Varennes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bret McBrand ran over to the corner to take the kick. Terence Cowan came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Varennes's Seth Luke. But to his dismay, Seth Luke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Bernardo Goudreau kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Varennes got a freekick which was hit by Erwin Gay. Ben Diest sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erwin Gay kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Crimson Knights players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Varennes were winning 0-3.

Maurice Odonnell's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Terence Cowan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dominic Ware hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Maurice Odonnell notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Crimson Knights's Terence Cowan. Terence Cowan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Varennes's zone, Ben Diest stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Boone came out of the goal and Ben Diest tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Terence Cowan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Titus Pineda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Crimson Knights booed when Varennes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Théophile Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Crimson Knights's Ben Diest in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Diest in the 83rd minute of play forced Varennes's goalkeeper Gilberto Boone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Varennes defense, Ben Diest kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Boone. The Varennes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Boone should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Crimson Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Titus Pineda came free, but Terence Cowan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute of the match Varennes got a corner. Crimson Knights's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Titus Pineda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terence Cowan having to interfere. Terence Cowan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Titus Pineda, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Titus Pineda made a precise shot to the right of Terence Cowan. Crimson Knights's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Varennes played a much better game than Crimson Knights and deserved their victory. The Crimson Knights players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
