An unexpectedly hard shot by Earle Hollis in the 3rd minute of play forced CS Impact de Montreal's goalkeeper Anton Lamothe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaias Weiss kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match Curtis Duclos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jake Kitchen skillfully saved the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Dwayne Casey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anton Lamothe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anton Lamothe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Weiss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anton Lamothe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Earle Hollis in the 17th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Jimmie Ogden in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CS Impact de Montreal's Marc Carlson. 23 minutes into the match, Moose FC's goalkeeper Jake Kitchen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augustus Combs. 26 minutes into the game, Moose FC's Mitch Marleau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anton Lamothe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 29th minute, Mitch Marleau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Isaias Weiss made a precise shot to the right of Anton Lamothe. CS Impact de Montreal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Augustus Combs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jake Kitchen made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, Isaias Weiss had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anton Lamothe. CS Impact de Montreal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaias Weiss was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. If Elbert McNally had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augustus Combs to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Isaias Weiss recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anton Lamothe. Isaias Weiss showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. 56 minutes into the game, Earle Hollis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Anton Lamothe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Earle Hollis in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Lamothe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dwayne Casey took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Lamothe. Anton Lamothe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. In the 69th minute, Elbert McNally hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lyle Starks during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to CS Impact de Montreal getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Lyle Starks hit a great ball. Anton Lamothe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mitch Marleau went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-9 was the resulting score. Anton Lamothe made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Isaias Weiss sent off a good shot on target. Mitch Marleau received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anton Lamothe came out and tried to block the shot, but Mitch Marleau slotted it home off the left post making it 1-10 in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Isaias Weiss made a precise shot to the right of Anton Lamothe. CS Impact de Montreal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-11. CS Impact de Montreal's Anton Lamothe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save CS Impact de Montreal from getting a goal against them. Moose FC played a much better game than CS Impact de Montreal and deserved their victory. The CS Impact de Montreal players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
