Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valdo Fernandes kicked off to start the match. Tião Paes scored 1-3 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giovanni Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valdo Fernandes hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 59 played minutes Languiru SC got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Penha. 62 minutes into the match, Languiru SC's goalkeeper Giovanni Monteiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tião Paes. 64 minutes into the match, Languiru SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Martins came free, but Giovanni Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Christian Machado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giovanni Monteiro was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 67th minute, Tião Paes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
