Laércio Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovanni Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmo Vidal in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Languiru SC's goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Abraão came free, but Giovanni Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivo Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Barros having to interfere.
