Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Clemente Ugaitz kicked off to start the match. Generoso Gines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Dominix in the 3rd minute of play. When Higinio Llorienzo came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Banfiel Oeste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Llorienzo couldn't finish the play. Generoso Gines didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Primitivo Dominix went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Clemente Ugaitz came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the ESTRELLA F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Ugaitz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Dominix in the 12th minute of play forced Banfiel Oeste's goalkeeper Generoso Gines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Banfiel Oeste's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Dominix came free, but Generoso Gines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Banfiel Oeste's Florencio Felipo got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Higinio Llorienzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind ESTRELLA F.C's goalkeeper Melchor Batista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Primitivo Dominix came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the ESTRELLA F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Dominix couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Banfiel Oeste booed when ESTRELLA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Dominix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florencio Felipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Batista having to interfere. Melchor Batista was a little too slow when Ricardo Presebal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in ESTRELLA F.C's zone, Ricardo Presebal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchor Batista came out of the goal and Ricardo Presebal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, ESTRELLA F.C's Melchor Batista got control of the ball when Ricardo Presebal tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Higinio Llorienzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Banfiel Oeste's Ricardo Presebal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melchor Batista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Higinio Llorienzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Batista having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ESTRELLA F.C's zone, Ricardo Presebal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchor Batista came out of the goal and Ricardo Presebal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Higinio Llorienzo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Dantel in the 51st minute of play forced Banfiel Oeste's goalkeeper Generoso Gines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higinio Llorienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Melchor Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Ugaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Gines having to interfere. With his leg Generoso Gines managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when ESTRELLA F.C's Primitivo Dominix fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Ricardo Presebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Presebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Llorienzo in the 69th minute of the match. Jonas Erruki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Batista having to interfere. Ricardo Presebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Higinio Llorienzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Presebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Presebal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melchor Batista having to make a save. Higinio Llorienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Melchor Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the ESTRELLA F.C defense, Higinio Llorienzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melchor Batista. The ESTRELLA F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melchor Batista should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Higinio Llorienzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banfiel Oeste's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Llorienzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melchor Batista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Melchor Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Felipo in the 90th minute of the match. Primitivo Dominix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Gines having to interfere. Florencio Felipo might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melchor Batista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florencio Felipo ran back to his position shaking his head.
