The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Aires was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Come Gato's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Dantel came free, but Zeledon Gorosti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Primitivo Dominix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Mario Aires ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Mario Aires took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Melchor Batista to make any attempt to save it. Come Gato's Paulus Coeckelberghs got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, ESTRELLA F.C could leave the field as winners, despite Come Gato having more of the ball for most of the match.
