Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Higinio Llorienzo kicked off to start the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Ricardo Presebal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banfiel Oeste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Presebal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute Ariel Perpinya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Gines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Gines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Perpinya in the 10th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higinio Llorienzo got free with Esteve Hitzeder in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Banfiel Oeste's Ricardo Presebal got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Banfiel Oeste's Higinio Llorienzo got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Higinio Llorienzo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Esteve Hitzeder skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Florencio Felipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Presebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Esteve Hitzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquilino Elixio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Generoso Gines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Matthew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariel F.C's Esteve Hitzeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Presebal in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ariel F.C's zone, Ricardo Presebal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Hitzeder came out of the goal and Ricardo Presebal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Esteve Hitzeder managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Banfiel Oeste's Higinio Llorienzo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Florencio Felipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Hitzeder having to interfere. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ariel Perpinya to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Aquilino Elixio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banfiel Oeste's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Elixio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Hitzeder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florencio Felipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Banfiel Oeste's goalkeeper Generoso Gines, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geronimo Indar charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geronimo Indar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Geronimo Indar kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Esteve Hitzeder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florencio Felipo went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute Ariel Perpinya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Gines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Higinio Llorienzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Presebal might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteve Hitzeder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Presebal ran back to his position shaking his head. Aquilino Elixio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Hitzeder having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Higinio Llorienzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esteve Hitzeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Presebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When Higinio Llorienzo came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Banfiel Oeste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Llorienzo couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Banfiel Oeste were the better team. Banfiel Oeste's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
