Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 9 minutes into the game, Carabelas's Mariano Aragones nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Generoso Gines made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Generoso Gines came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Carabelas's Mariano Aragones. With a little luck, Carabelas's Simon Claris got control of the ball when Aquilino Elixio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Aquilino Elixio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Higinio Llorienzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Simon Claris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Elixio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Aquilino Elixio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Aquilino Elixio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banfiel Oeste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Elixio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Claris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Presebal in the 52nd minute of play. Carabelas's Simon Claris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Llorienzo in the 76th minute of play. Ricardo Presebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Simon Claris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florencio Felipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Claris having to interfere. Aquilino Elixio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Aquilino Elixio made a precise shot to the right of Simon Claris. Carabelas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Aquilino Elixio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banfiel Oeste's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Elixio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Claris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Banfiel Oeste players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
