Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Higinio Llorienzo started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Fail Team got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Quinton. Banfiel Oeste's Florencio Felipo got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillermo Romano in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Gines prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, Florencio Vimaro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Banfiel Oeste's Generoso Gines. Generoso Gines was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute Guillermo Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Gines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Llorienzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Benitez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Llorienzo in the 19th minute of play forced Fail Team's goalkeeper Epifanio Benitez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higinio Llorienzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Benitez having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Florencio Vimaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fail Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Banfiel Oeste the free kick. Epifanio Benitez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. If Higinio Llorienzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Romano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Generoso Gines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fail Team's Florencio Vimaro got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Fail Team's Florencio Vimaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Generoso Gines narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guillermo Romano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Generoso Gines read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. During the 44th minute of the match Florencio Vimaro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Florencio Vimaro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Florencio Vimaro hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 51 minutes, Guillermo Romano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fail Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Romano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Banfiel Oeste's Generoso Gines proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Banfiel Oeste from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute, Laureano Abechuco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Guillermo Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 61 minutes into the match, Higinio Llorienzo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Fail Team's Epifanio Benitez. Epifanio Benitez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Higinio Llorienzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epifanio Benitez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Presebal in the 65th minute of play. Epifanio Benitez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Higinio Llorienzo went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Banfiel Oeste's Higinio Llorienzo got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fail Team's goalkeeper Epifanio Benitez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th match minute, Fail Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Romano to maneuver through the defense. If Florencio Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Benitez came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Banfiel Oeste's Higinio Llorienzo. But to his dismay, Higinio Llorienzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Epifanio Benitez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Presebal in the 86th minute of the match. Guillermo Romano kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When Amadeo Vela fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Banfiel Oeste's protests and gave Amadeo Vela a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Amadeo Vela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcial Nazario's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Generoso Gines firmly grabbed it by the left post. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Banfiel Oeste had played much better football throughout.
