After a defensive mix-up in Empaladores FC's zone, Salvador Weterio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Loi came out of the goal and Salvador Weterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Benigno Iraitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Claris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Salvador Weterio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enzo Loi was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Weterio in the 21st minute of play forced Empaladores FC's goalkeeper Enzo Loi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Salvador Weterio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enzo Loi. The goal made the score 1-1. Enzo Loi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Weterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Mariano Aragones took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enzo Loi. Enzo Loi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 36thth minute of the game Salvador Weterio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Empaladores FC's Enzo Loi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Cristian Ekain fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Empaladores FC's protests and gave Cristian Ekain a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Empaladores FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Ekain. Salvador Weterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carabelas's Salvador Weterio got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 46 minutes, Mariano Aragones managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carabelas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Aragones was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Enzo Loi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Aragones in the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Benigno Iraitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Carabelas's Simon Claris got control of the ball when Simon Abeita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Aragones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Enzo Loi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
