Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jarl Bank kicked off to start the match. Marcinho Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Pihlblad in the 5th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Aros Vandals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Berg to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Värmbol's Olov Magnusson threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Henry Lund, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 14th minute, Elof Andersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Berg in the 18th minute of play forced Värmbol's goalkeeper Marcinho Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aros Vandals's Olov Magnusson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Aros Vandals from getting a goal against them. Isaac Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Henry Lund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Olov Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Värmbol! In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Aros Vandals. Mattias Sundén stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcinho Cruz. 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan-Åke Bergren was the one to do the kick off. Elof Andersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olov Magnusson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Olov Magnusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Åke Bergren in the 55th minute of the match. Olov Magnusson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manfred Samuelsson's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Marcinho Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarl Bank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Åke Bergren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Olov Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Elof Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Magnusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Åke Bergren scored 1-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olov Magnusson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcinho Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktor Lidberg in the 74th minute. The supporters of Aros Vandals booed when Värmbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paul Bolander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Magnusson having to interfere. After 95 minutes of play, Värmbol's Jan-Åke Bergren made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olov Magnusson was left in no man's land by his defense there!
