Spectators: 7530 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) 0-1 became the score in the 6th minute when Jan Håning elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Rödeby defense, Elof Andersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvard Brolin. The Rödeby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvard Brolin should have stopped the shot. If Elof Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvard Brolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Lund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Elof Andersson came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Värmbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elof Andersson couldn't finish the play. Paul Bolander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Edvard Brolin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rödeby's Edvard Brolin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Rödeby from getting a goal against them. Edvard Brolin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Bolander's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The Värmbol fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Värmbol's Jan-Åke Bergren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Manfred Samuelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvard Brolin having to interfere. Edvard Brolin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Åke Bergren in the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Jan Håning had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcinho Cruz. Värmbol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Håning was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Manfred Samuelsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvard Brolin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manfred Samuelsson ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes into the game, Mårten Sjöberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rödeby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Värmbol the free kick. In the 36th match minute, Rödeby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mårten Sjöberg to maneuver through the defense. Henry Lund scored 3-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvard Brolin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Rödeby's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Henry Lund fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Manfred Samuelsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvard Brolin having to make a save. In the 41st minute, Jan-Åke Bergren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elof Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvard Brolin having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paul Bolander during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rödeby booed when Värmbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Bolander didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johannes Lange to strike the kick off in the second half. Mårten Sjöberg hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Per Forssberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elof Andersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Edvard Brolin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edvard Brolin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Samuelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rödeby's zone, Elof Andersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvard Brolin came out of the goal and Elof Andersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paul Bolander scored 4-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvard Brolin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paul Bolander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvard Brolin having to interfere. When Värmbol's Elof Andersson in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rödeby's goalie prevented a goal. Värmbol's Jörgen Håkansson was substituted for Henrik Sjö. Värmbol's Elof Andersson got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 70 minutes of play, Värmbol's Manfred Samuelsson made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvard Brolin was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Åke Bergren in the 73rd minute of play forced Rödeby's goalkeeper Edvard Brolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Åke Bergren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Edvard Brolin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johannes Lange charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johannes Lange the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th minute, Johannes Lange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvard Brolin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manfred Samuelsson went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Rödeby's Urban Christoffersson got a free kick in the 81st minute. A collision led to Värmbol getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Henry Lund hit a great ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Manfred Samuelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Värmbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfred Samuelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bengt-Rune Odeen kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 90 minutes of play, Värmbol's Jan-Åke Bergren made it 7-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvard Brolin was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Värmbol players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
