Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jan-Åke Bergren kicked off to start the match. When Nils Jonasson came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Polhems Juniorer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Jonasson couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Polhems Juniorer's Holger Lind got control of the ball when Paul Bolander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan-Åke Bergren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 9 played minutes Jan-Åke Bergren rounded Polhems Juniorer's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Polhems Juniorer's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Åke Bergren came free, but Holger Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Åke Bergren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Holger Lind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Holger Lind was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Jan-Åke Bergren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan-Åke Bergren really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. If Manfred Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, Värmbol's Elof Andersson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Holger Lind narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Holger Lind made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfred Samuelsson in the 30th minute. The supporters of Värmbol booed when Polhems Juniorer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Fastesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Jan-Åke Bergren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Holger Lind, 4-0. After some careless play in the Polhems Juniorer defense, Paul Bolander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Holger Lind. The Polhems Juniorer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Holger Lind should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute, Paul Bolander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Värmbol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roger Wallin to strike the kick off in the second half. Holger Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Bergren in the 53rd minute of play. Manfred Samuelsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Holger Lind having to make a save. Elof Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Roger Wallin in the 59th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Wallin in the 61st minute of play forced Värmbol's goalkeeper Marcinho Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig Sundberg got a throw-in 63 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Charlie Skarkman. Per Forssberg hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Holger Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Bolander, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Holger Lind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Åke Bergren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Paul Bolander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Holger Lind was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Holger Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Söderman, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Jan-Åke Bergren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Holger Lind was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Holger Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Samuelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Elof Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Lind having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Manfred Samuelsson put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Holger Lind. Holger Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Samuelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Nils Jonasson's late challenge caught a Värmbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils Jonasson helped the player get up and apologised. Nils Jonasson hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Polhems Juniorer's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Andersson came free, but Holger Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
