When László Pető fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Partizán's protests and gave László Pető a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Telekgerend .Star.szy. booed when Partizán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. László Pető didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Petrigai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Tamás Bodó made a huge save. Natalio Petrigai's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tamás Bodó firmly grabbed it by the left post. Natalio Petrigai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tamás Bodó having to interfere. András Gömöri might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tamás Bodó. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. András Gömöri ran back to his position shaking his head. Ferenc Gaál received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tamás Bodó came out and tried to block the shot, but Ferenc Gaál slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. Natalio Petrigai might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tamás Bodó. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natalio Petrigai ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28th minute of the match, Natalio Petrigai got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tamás Bodó was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 30th minute Ferenc Gaál shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tamás Bodó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Partizán's goal looked a bit too open when Ferenc Gaál came free, but Tamás Bodó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Jeromos Sólyom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bálint Bertha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Ferenc Gaál hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Petrigai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Tamás Bodó made a huge save. Partizán's Tamás Bodó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by András Gömöri in the 44th minute of play. After 45 minutes, Kornél Berényi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Partizán and the Telekgerend .Star.szy. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, one of Partizán:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Partizán. Partizán:s Tamás Bodó showed great skill when he stopped Árpád Vas:s penalty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flórián Zornánszky to make the kick off. Telekgerend .Star.szy.'s Bálint Bertha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dávid Tokody in the 52nd minute of play. László Pető hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, András Gömöri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Telekgerend .Star.szy. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 62 minutes of play, Telekgerend .Star.szy.'s Natalio Petrigai made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tamás Bodó was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 68 minutes Partizán's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ferenc Gaál who took care of the corner kick. Boguslaw Obuchowicz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferenc Gaál in the 72nd minute of play forced Partizán's goalkeeper Tamás Bodó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Partizán's Bálint Bertha threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Flórián Zornánszky, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Partizán's Tamás Bodó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by András Gömöri in the 74th minute of play. Telekgerend .Star.szy. were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Partizán's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ferenc Gaál took the corner. The corner ended in Ferenc Gaál almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Partizán's Tamás Bodó did a great save. Telekgerend .Star.szy.'s Bálint Bertha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Telekgerend .Star.szy. from getting a goal against them. Partizán's Tamás Bodó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferenc Gaál in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Telekgerend .Star.szy.'s Natalio Petrigai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tamás Bodó made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 91 minutes into the match, Partizán's goal looked a bit too open when Zsigmond Gulyás came free, but Tamás Bodó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tamás Bodó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferenc Gaál in the 92nd minute of the match. The supporters of Telekgerend .Star.szy. booed when Partizán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kornél Berényi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Partizán's zone, Zsigmond Gulyás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tamás Bodó came out of the goal and Zsigmond Gulyás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Telekgerend .Star.szy. had won after a very even match.
