Bálint Bertha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dávid Tóth, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Dávid Tóth's late challenge caught a Telekgerend .Star.szy.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dávid Tóth helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes FC Budapest got a freekick which was hit by Dávid Tóth. After 14 minutes of play, FC Budapest's Viktor Szőlősi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bálint Bertha was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the match, Telekgerend .Star.szy.'s goal looked a bit too open when Máté Polgár came free, but Bálint Bertha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dávid Tóth in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bálint Bertha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Dávid Tóth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bálint Bertha was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After 22 minutes Telekgerend .Star.szy.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zsolt Várdai who took care of the corner kick. FC Budapest's Zsolt Várdai was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bálint Bertha in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bálint Bertha had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Dávid Tóth's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 26th minute, Dávid Tóth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Budapest fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Máté Polgár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, one of Telekgerend .Star.szy.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for FC Budapest. Dávid Tóth stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bálint Bertha. 0-4. A collision led to Telekgerend .Star.szy. getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Imre Havasi hit a great ball. Viktor Szőlősi hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Boguslaw Obuchowicz took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Árpád Mészáros. Árpád Mészáros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dávid Tóth in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bálint Bertha saved Telekgerend .Star.szy. from getting behind. Bálint Bertha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dávid Tóth's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half FC Budapest were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dávid Tóth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match FC Budapest got a corner. Telekgerend .Star.szy.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zsolt Várdai ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Telekgerend .Star.szy.'s zone, Dávid Tóth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bálint Bertha came out of the goal and Dávid Tóth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Zsolt Várdai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dávid Tóths short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Bálint Bertha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bálint Bertha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Szőlősi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Telekgerend .Star.szy.'s Bálint Bertha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Telekgerend .Star.szy. from getting a goal against them. Dávid Tóth who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Bálint Bertha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 71st match minute, Telekgerend .Star.szy. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krisztián Deák to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes Telekgerend .Star.szy. got a freekick which was hit by Krisztián Deák. Dávid Tóth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bálint Bertha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, 方俊奕 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The Telekgerend .Star.szy. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Budapest were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
