An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Iványi in the 16th minute of play forced Partizán's goalkeeper Tamás Bodó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Átták booed when Partizán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vendel Szőnyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tamás Bodó came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Átták's Tamás Takács. But to his dismay, Tamás Takács quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Partizán's Tamás Bodó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ákos Nagy in the 29th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flórián Zornánszky to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Tamás Takács kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tamás Bodó. That made the score 0-4 in the 96 minute of play. The Partizán fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Átták were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
