In the 10th minute of the match, Jeromos Sólyom got a very nice opportunity to score, but Károly Balogh was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Balázs Veres helped the player get up and apologised. Bánk Mónos took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tamás Bodó. Tamás Bodó dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 60th minute, Csanád Erdei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balázs Veres got free with Tamás Bodó in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tamás Bodó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bánk Mónos, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The referee showed Bánk Mónos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Partizán booed when Szombathelyi HALADÁS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bánk Mónos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute Balázs Veres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tamás Bodó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szombathelyi HALADÁS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
