Vaggelis Siafakas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, Thomas Manousakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Panagiotis Spazokefalos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vaggelis Siafakas kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Iason Kiratzis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Dimitris Latsis made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Dimitris Latsis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dimitris Latsis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Siafakas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alkinoos Sfakianakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panagiotis Spazokefalos having to interfere. Eugenios Barbounis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimitris Latsis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Paris Katergiannakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's zone, Vaggelis Siafakas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitris Latsis came out of the goal and Vaggelis Siafakas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vaggelis Siafakas struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Dimitris Latsis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dhrιmisa. Dimitris Latsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaggelis Siafakas in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Eugenios Barbounis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Paris Katergiannakis got a free kick in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's goalkeeper Dimitris Latsis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugenios Barbounis. If Vaggelis Siafakas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iason Kiratzis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Eugenios Barbounis came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Dhrιmisa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenios Barbounis couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vaggelis Siafakas was the one to do the kick off. ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Dimitris Latsis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenios Barbounis in the 54th minute of play. Ignatios Baltimas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Panagiotis Spazokefalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Manousakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panagiotis Spazokefalos having to interfere. Dimitris Latsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenios Barbounis in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67thth minute of the game Eugenios Barbounis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Dimitris Latsis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 67 played minutes ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ got a freekick which was hit by Savas Myroforidis. Dimitris Latsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenios Barbounis in the 69th minute of play. In the 70thth minute of the game Eugenios Barbounis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Dimitris Latsis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Vaggelis Siafakas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitris Latsis was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Alkinoos Sfakianakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Alkinoos Sfakianakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenios Barbounis came free, but Dimitris Latsis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Dhrιmisa were victorious despite being under pressure from ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ for much of the match.
