It was joyful for the audience to see Alkinoos Sfakianakis dribbling past the opponents defense line in the 6th played minute and put the ball into the net. 1-0. In the 15th minute, Christos Remoundos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimitris Latsis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Dimitris Latsis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Remoundos, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Panagiotis Portokaloglou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Dimitris Latsis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Remoundos in the 30th minute of play. Lefteris Vrakozonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alkinoos Sfakianakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Ignatios Baltimas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignatios Baltimas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignatios Baltimas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lefteris Vrakozonis having to interfere. In the 46th minute Christos Remoundos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Latsis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitris Latsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Remoundos in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alkinoos Sfakianakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Mad Father F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Thodoris Spazokefalos. After a defensive mix-up in Mad Father F.C.'s zone, Ignatios Baltimas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lefteris Vrakozonis came out of the goal and Ignatios Baltimas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alkinoos Sfakianakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ignatios Baltimas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lefteris Vrakozonis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Ignatios Baltimas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lefteris Vrakozonis having to interfere. If Alkinoos Sfakianakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignatios Baltimas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 played minutes Mad Father F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Paris Papadimitropoulos. The supporters of Mad Father F.C. booed when ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Savas Myroforidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Ignatios Baltimas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Dimitris Latsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Portokaloglou in the 87th minute of the match. Panagiotis Portokaloglou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ΕΡΥΘΡΟΣ ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Alkinoos Sfakianakis got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lefteris Vrakozonis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Manousakis in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Mad Father F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Kyriakos Bouzinekis.
