If Vaggelis Siafakas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenios Barbounis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Andreas Skrekis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Polydeukis FC's Andreas Skrekis got control of the ball when Eugenios Barbounis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, Nikolas Sotirakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Dhrιmisa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Polydeukis FC:s goal. After having played for 13 minutes, Tasos Baltatzis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polydeukis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tasos Baltatzis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Panagiotis Spazokefalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iason Kiourtsidis's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Iason Kiourtsidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panagiotis Spazokefalos having to interfere. Panagiotis Spazokefalos came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Polydeukis FC's Iason Kiourtsidis. But to his dismay, Iason Kiourtsidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 29th minute Vaggelis Siafakas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Skrekis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Iason Kiourtsidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikitas Giasemis's late challenge caught a Polydeukis FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nikitas Giasemis helped the player get up and apologised. Nikitas Giasemis kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Tasos Baltatzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, Dhrιmisa's Eugenios Barbounis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andreas Skrekis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Takis Georgiou kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. If Iason Kiourtsidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Polydeukis FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Dhrιmisa's Nikitas Giasemis got a free kick in the 51st minute. Tasos Baltatzis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Dhrιmisa's zone, Tasos Baltatzis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Panagiotis Spazokefalos came out of the goal and Tasos Baltatzis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Takis Georgiou hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Polydeukis FC's Miltos Katsara got a free kick in the 66th minute. Andreas Skrekis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenios Barbounis in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Polydeukis FC's Tasos Baltatzis got a free kick in the 69th minute. Eugenios Barbounis might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Skrekis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugenios Barbounis ran back to his position shaking his head. After 80 played minutes Polydeukis FC got a freekick which was hit by Miltos Katsara. In the 81st minute of the match Spyros Vourtzoumis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andreas Skrekis skillfully saved the ball. Minas Kokolakis hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Andreas Skrekis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vaggelis Siafakas's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. With a little luck, Dhrιmisa's Panagiotis Spazokefalos got control of the ball when Iason Kiourtsidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Polydeukis FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
