Jonathan Kang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asiz Lim having to interfere. A collision led to Abbay Wood United getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Mujahid Nagasaki hit a great ball. Ang Chong's late challenge caught a Geadling's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ang Chong helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Abbay Wood United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ang Chong to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, Zak Cho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Asiz Lim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Jonathan Kang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Kang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Asiz Lim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 minutes of play, Geadling's Zak Cho made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Asiz Lim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zak Cho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asiz Lim having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jonathan Kang made the kick off in the second half. Darryl Pillai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After 69 minutes of play, Geadling's Zak Cho made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Asiz Lim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zak Cho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Asiz Lim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Darryl Pillai fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abbay Wood United's protests and gave Darryl Pillai a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, Abbay Wood United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darryl Pillai to maneuver through the defense. Jerry Tuan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Victor Lum showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-3 in the 87 minute of play. Geadling's Jerry Tuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Pillai in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Geadling fans cheered their team off the field, for while Abbay Wood United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
