If Andrew Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes El Kiwy Mecanico got a freekick which was hit by Florinio Turienzo. In the 27th minute, Andrew Brooks made a precise shot to the right of Hermelando Rey. El Kiwy Mecanico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Kiwy Mecanico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrew Brooks got free with Hermelando Rey in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute Florinio Turienzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Webster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Billie Jean King Spirit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Harrison to maneuver through the defense.
