In the 2nd match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Dan to maneuver through the defense. Robert Billington was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 3rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gigi Chifu came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Billie Jean King Spirit's Andrew Brooks. But to his dismay, Andrew Brooks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Andrew Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Shaine Gordon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Billie Jean King Spirit's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Vertigo the free kick. In the 13th minute, Valeriu Achiriloaie made a precise shot to the right of Mark Webster. Billie Jean King Spirit's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 18 minutes into the game, Alan McIntee threw the ball into play from the sideline. Club Vertigo's Victor Dan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 20th minute, Robert Billington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shaine Gordon got free with Gigi Chifu in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Timothy McDonald kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Valeriu Achiriloaie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Andrew Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Club Vertigo booed when Billie Jean King Spirit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shaine Gordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Billington scored 2-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigi Chifu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tạ D Artagnan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Webster having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Billington to make the kick off. Mark Webster made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Valeriu Achiriloaie sent off a good shot on target. Robert Billington charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Billington the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Robert Billington hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Club Vertigo's Filip Bocșa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Derreck Horrocks, made in the 60th minute of the game. In the 63rd minute, Shaine Gordon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Billington came free, but Gigi Chifu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Derreck Horrocks got a throw-in 69 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Andrew Brooks. In the 70th minute, Robert Billington ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gigi Chifu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Billie Jean King Spirit's Mark Webster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Bobeica in the 75th minute of play. Gigi Chifu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Billington in the 80th minute of the match. Club Vertigo's Ştefan Bobeica quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Derreck Horrocks, made in the 84th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the game, Billie Jean King Spirit's Robert Billington nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigi Chifu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Gigi Chifu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Billington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dumitru Mavrogheni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Webster having to interfere. The supporters of Club Vertigo booed when Billie Jean King Spirit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Harrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shaine Gordon might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gigi Chifu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shaine Gordon ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew the final whistle, Billie Jean King Spirit could leave the field as winners, despite Club Vertigo having more of the ball for most of the match.
