Karl-Heinz Rummenigge ran back to his position shaking his head. If Karl-Heinz Rummenigge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Tobias Micael in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U21 Costa Rica's Baltazar Redondo. In the 33rd minute, U21 Costa Rica's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Karl-Heinz Rummenigge fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
