Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luis Barragán started the match with the kick off. 13 minutes into the match, U21 Czech Republic's goalkeeper Rastislav Bartůšek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Barragán. The supporters of U21 Czech Republic booed when U21 Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Cidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Vojtěch Krotký had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teobaldo Quinton. U21 Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vojtěch Krotký was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albino Cordearo during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vojtěch Krotký in the 21st minute of play forced U21 Mexico's goalkeeper Teobaldo Quinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Quinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Koutek, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 73rd minute Libor Fialka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Quinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Michal Vrána recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teobaldo Quinton. U21 Czech Republic's Rastislav Bartůšek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Omero in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, U21 Mexico's Leonides Eleder got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Libor Fialka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Mexico's Teobaldo Quinton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gregorio Cidro hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Vojtěch Krotký came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Teobaldo Quinton could save by the left post. A hard shot 89 in the game by Libor Fialka from a close distance when the talented Teobaldo Quinton managed to make a qualified save. U21 Mexico's players were relieved. A collision led to U21 Mexico getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Giovanny Murillo hit a great ball. Michal Vrána got in the 91st minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Teobaldo Quinton. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-4. The U21 Czech Republic supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing U21 Czech Republic would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
