Soběslav's Tomáš Puč played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Brůna in the 21st minute of play. Tomáš Puč showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mimoun Palić in the 24th minute of the match. Nedas Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiří Benda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mimoun Palić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 2-0 became the score in the 32nd minute when Mimoun Palić elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, U21 Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Gláuber Matos came free, but Nedas Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Ivan Brůna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Czech Republic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Mimoun Palić took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Tomáš Puč to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mimoun Palić was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Soběslav's goal looked a bit too open when Mimoun Palić came free, but Tomáš Puč reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Mimoun Palić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Puč saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Luděk Lupač hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luděk Lupač kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mimoun Palić in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomáš Puč prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 77 minutes Soběslav's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vratislav Šmejkal who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Vratislav Šmejkal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomáš Puč quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mimoun Palić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomáš Puč having to make a save. Tomáš Puč made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mimoun Palić in the 80th minute of play. If Mimoun Palić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ivan Brůna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomáš Puč was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Mimoun Palić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Puč having to interfere. Tomáš Puč showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mimoun Palić, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Tomáš Puč stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mimoun Palić's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that U21 Czech Republic were the better team. U21 Czech Republic's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
