Smithfield won easily against Hedgetown 4-0. Makaroniarze Tczew also defeated their opponents with a high score 6-0 against weak Shamrock rovers. Galway won 6-0 against MKS which we all know he sold his team. Same story here with Górnik who had to lose against Toruń. Młokosy won 1-0 against Galaktikos, not an easy game. Malinowe Nosy took a 2-0 victory against the Joker, it's their 4th victory in a row.

ROUND 21

Round 21 - 17-06-2020 15:00

Joker made easy points on Hedgetown as predicted. Młokosy in a game of the round won over Malinowe Nosy 2-0, we have to highlight that Malinowe Nosy got a red card in the 33th minute, actually it was his 2nd yellow card, funny thing getting 2 yeallow cards in 10 minutes by the same player, what an agression ! Galaktikos drew to Copernicus, very closed game. Cowboys won over Górnik as predicted but only 2-0, Górnik youths didn't gave it easy. Makaroniarze won 5-0 against MKS easy points. Smiethfield won only 1-0 against Shamrocks.

ROUND 22

Round 22 - 21-06-2020 15:45

Joker won 3-0 against Shamrock in the last round, now getting ready for play offs. Młokosy as predicted defeated Hedgetown with a huge score 8-0 this time. Copernicus Toruń proved once more they under a good form lately they drew 0-0 to Malinowe Nosy who were favourites to win this game. Galway Cowboys won 1-0 against Galaktikos and this victory gave them the top 3 position at the end ! Makaroniarze Tczew won easily against the youths of Górnik, and Smithfield done the same thing to MKS.

TOP 3

IRISH CHAMPIONOF THE SEASON 74

Młokosy done it again ! 4th time in a row ! This season they won the Irish prestigious title with a huge points advantage over the rivals!! , simply the best team once more. Very tough to beat, they were only defeated once this season in round 20, but the rest of the games were won 19 times and 2 draws ! Great goal advantage as well! Well done Nieopierzone Młokosy!

KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946 managed to be 2nd, second season in a row when KS finishes 2nd, fully deserved, they did count silently for something more but it didn't work out. Górnik did draw and won over Młokosy but lost too many points to weaker teams, and couple of round before the end they decided to sell the team anyways, where the top 2 was guaranteed. Fairly good season, and we wait for them to come back in the future with the good players, they will get relegated next season as playing with youths can only guarantee you the bottom 3!

Galway Cowboys goal was to stay in the league for another season and this task was achieved easily, and their very solid form, allowed them to finish in the top 3 ! Maybe if Górnik and MKS didn't sell their teams it would be harder to do it, but still the top 3 position tastes good! 13 victories, 4 draws and 5 defeats, pretty good stats which gave them the best posotion so far in the Premier League, well done ! They are improving every season, and I have to say they will settle now in the Premier League, don't see them getting anywhere near the dangerous zone next season !

4-7

Another solid season by Malinowe Nosy, they didn't finish in the top 3 but 4th position is not that bad, but of course being just outside the top 3 won't make you too happy... 12 victories, 5 draws and 5 defeats, the goal difference was pretty well, they didn't score too much but had second best defence in the league !! The next season they will be fighting for the title, as we all know Górnik and MKS sold their teams, so Malinowe Nosy will concetrate not on just top 3 but to be number 1 of Ireland too. 

Very good season for Taxi team from Toruń. They finished in the top 5 which is a great achievement. Toruń are always on the top positions since many seasons and never struggle for play offs relegation. This time 5th position came in handy, lot's of good matches, The won only 10 times but had 7 draws, if some of them draws would turn into victories they could be much higher !

1948 MKS finished 6th but only due to the selling the squad, if not they probably would be 3rd as they were before the reset. Same amount of points as Copernicus, good season alltogether, MKS could do better but the top 3 would be achieved which is good. 1948 MKS did play on their normal high level as always.

Galaktikos came 7th, they could do much much better, but being on a safe zone is always very important and not easy. In the last 6 rounds Galaktik team  won just once which costed them the position in the top 5. Next season they could do much better I think, even top 3 is possible if they play well as it will be a bit easier in the next one.

8-9

During the season there were times when I thought this time Makaroniarze Tczew will get relegated, sometimes their form was poor but as always they had a great finish in the last couple of games which gave them the play offs. Every season Makaroniarze are so close to go to div1 but always somehow Tczew manages to stay, will story repeat this time? They will be a strong favourites to win the play off group I'm sure. Makaroniarze had 12 loses this season, therefore no chances at all to finish in the safe zone.

Joker the Hunter started well but as season went it was harder and harder, but getting play offs spot is much better than getting relegated. Joker still have a good chance and I think they will win the play offs group very easily, so we will see them here again next season. Same amount of points as Tczew, 12 loses,  2 draws and 8 wins, which gave them 26 points at the end, both teams had only 1 point more than Smithfield who finished 10th!

10-13

Smithfield are going back to div1, unfortunately it was too hard to stay in the league. But sometimes you have to fall to come back stronger ! I bet everything they will be back here again after next season. I'm sure being here in the Premier League gave them a lot of experience, and if manager continues his job it will get better. Few very good matches, like a draw against Górnik which is top 3 of Ireland. It was very close battle to the end to stay in the league.

Hedgetown and Shamrock are going back too, extremely bad teams this season, they gave no challenge at all to any one, only points both of the got was between eachother.. Seems like they are inactive.

The Match Day 

Copernicus Toruń vs Malinowe Nosy. Unfortunately no goals, but the game was interesting to watch ! Two of the top 5 teams clashed together and we can see unexpectedly Copernicus Toruń had x3 more shots on target than Malinowe Nosy ! Toruń played a very good tactic which works against the wings, however even 18 shots on target didn't give them any goals. Another example where short passing is not effective as wing play. Malinowe Nosy's keeper V. Ihintza was the MVP of the match (not surprised). Even though Toruń had way more chances it was Malinowe Nosy who had a higher ball possession 45% to 55%. Important match for both and the draw is hurting Toruń a bit, but that's why you need to have a great goalkeeper who can save you the match !
