Kurtis Capps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leland Trejo in the 35th minute of the match. When Leland Trejo came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the MTL Impact fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leland Trejo couldn't finish the play. Leland Trejo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Emery Vincent hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Kurtis Capps made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Leland Trejo sent off a good shot on target. Leland Trejo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Kurtis Capps when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leland Trejo got free with Kurtis Capps in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 91 played minutes MTL Impact got a freekick which was hit by Jourdain Cullen. MTL Impact's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
