FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's Ernani Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Proença in the 9th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Márcio Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino Lopez in the 28th minute of play forced Atibaia City FC's goalkeeper Antônio Carlos Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Durvalino Lopez notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Atibaia City FC's Antônio Carlos Vides. Antônio Carlos Vides was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Durvalino Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Carlos Vides having to interfere. Antônio Carlos Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Lopez in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's Augusto Falcão got a free kick in the 36th minute. Alfredinho Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ernani Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Atibaia City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Linares came free, but Antônio Carlos Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After 52 minutes Atibaia City FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabriel Esteves who took care of the corner kick. Antônio Carlos Vides was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Danilo Linares capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Danilo Linares really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's zone, Beto Koehler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernani Pena came out of the goal and Beto Koehler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredinho Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Pena having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's Eurico Velasco got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Beto Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Atibaia City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Linares came free, but Antônio Carlos Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Beto Koehler came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Atibaia City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Koehler couldn't finish the play. In the 81st match minute, FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Santos to maneuver through the defense. The FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
