The referee ignored FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's protests and gave Gabriel Esteves a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE! Edson Barral shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 45 minutes into the game, Danilo Linares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GRADIM F.C the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's Danilo Linares got a free kick in the 45th minute. FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's Ernani Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Pecka in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Danilo Linares made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino Lopez in the 53rd minute of play forced GRADIM F.C's goalkeeper Lucien Melis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Josef Pecka fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GRADIM F.C's protests and gave Josef Pecka a yellow card for diving instead. Josef Pecka kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Josef Pecka fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ernani Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Pecka, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Bebeto Arruda hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's Gabriel Esteves tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Danilo Linares came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Linares couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, GRADIM F.C's Matías Rodrigues got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 65th minute of the match Gabriel Esteves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucien Melis skillfully saved the ball. In the 71st minute Josef Pecka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernani Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucien Melis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Gino Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Josef Pecka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Pena having to interfere. Gino Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, GRADIM F.C's Bebeto Arruda got a free kick in the 80th minute. 85 minutes into the match, FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Pecka came free, but Ernani Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernani Pena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gino Marques in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, GRADIM F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Linares came free, but Lucien Melis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucien Melis came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's Eurico Velasco. Gino Marques struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ernani Pena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GRADIM F.C. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
