In the 30th play minute Beto Koehler came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Vianna. 1-0. In the 35th minute, Serginho Hermes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antônio Carlos Vides was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Pedro Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Proença in the 38th minute of the match. If Beto Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd match minute, Yara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Yara's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Alfredinho Proença scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Vianna, making the score, 2-1. Guilherme Marquez's late challenge caught a Atibaia City FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guilherme Marquez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Yara getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Guilherme Marquez hit a great ball. The long shot by Henrique Pinho in the 49th minute really tested Pedro Vianna's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredinho Proença to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Atibaia City FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Beto Koehler hit a great ball. Beto Koehler might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Vianna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beto Koehler ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute Alfredinho Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 67th minute, but Antônio Carlos Vides got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Atibaia City FC hanging dry this time. In the 69thth minute of the game Valdo Mazza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atibaia City FC's Antônio Carlos Vides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Koehler in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Alfredinho Proença ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Vianna was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. If Beto Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beto Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Pedro Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Vianna came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Atibaia City FC's Alfredinho Proença. But to his dismay, Alfredinho Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Henrique Pinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Vianna. Yara's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
