Fidel Cai came out of the goal and Dante Silbestre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fidel Cai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Heriberto's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Luciano Heriberto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fidel Cai. El Rejunte F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luciano Heriberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fidel Cai came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by El ciclon Gambito's Dante Silbestre. But to his dismay, Dante Silbestre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Remigio Erauso hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Fidel Cai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Heriberto in the 27th minute of play. If Dante Silbestre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 32 minutes, Gerardo Heriberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Rejunte F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Heriberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerardo Heriberto's late challenge caught a El ciclon Gambito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Heriberto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, El Rejunte F.C's Gerardo Heriberto got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Dante Silbestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind El Rejunte F.C's goalkeeper Fidel Cai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The El ciclon Gambito fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when El ciclon Gambito's Dante Silbestre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The wind increased when Luciano Heriberto made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, El ciclon Gambito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Oliviero to maneuver through the defense. Dante Silbestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fidel Cai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Cai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Heriberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Atilano Isauro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulises Abaunza. A collision led to El Rejunte F.C getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Serafino Gaueko hit a great ball. El ciclon Gambito's Octavio Beturian couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for El Rejunte F.C. 89 minutes into the game, Serafino Gaueko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Rejunte F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El ciclon Gambito the free kick. Serafino Gaueko kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Luciano Heriberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luciano Heriberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. El ciclon Gambito's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
