The El Rejunte F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Cai should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the match, El Rejunte F.C's Atilano Isauro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omar Felo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eugenio Paio struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Fidel Cai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vinicio Fe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Omar Felo came out of the goal and Gerardo Heriberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siro Feliz during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Gerardo Heriberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute Atilano Isauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Felo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Felo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Isauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 89 played minutes El Rejunte F.C got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Heriberto. Atilano Isauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
