Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Manuel Elorri successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ahmet Arif Afacan struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Ulises Abaunza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BETCO. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Gerardo Bras put in a rough tackle. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for El ciclon Gambito. Octavio Beturian stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Manuel Elorri. 2-0. Ahmet Arif Afacan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carlos Datoru came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the BETCO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Datoru couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in El ciclon Gambito's zone, Boyne Ferguson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Abaunza came out of the goal and Boyne Ferguson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luciano Heriberto made a kick off. A collision led to BETCO getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Fernan Madaleno hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, BETCO's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Silbestre came free, but Manuel Elorri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Elorri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boyne Ferguson's late challenge caught a El ciclon Gambito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boyne Ferguson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of El ciclon Gambito booed when BETCO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyne Ferguson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ahmet Arif Afacan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El ciclon Gambito's Ulises Abaunza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save El ciclon Gambito from getting a goal against them. BETCO's Carlos Datoru got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Boyne Ferguson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Boyne Ferguson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Abaunza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boyne Ferguson in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Amadeo Maule was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BETCO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El ciclon Gambito the free kick. In the 78th match minute, BETCO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Maule to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes, El ciclon Gambito's Octavio Beturian shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manuel Elorri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El ciclon Gambito reached it. Ulises Abaunza made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Carlos Datoru sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Ahmet Arif Afacan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Carlos Datoru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Abaunza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyne Ferguson in the 91st minute of the match. Carlos Datoru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulises Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyne Ferguson in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, El ciclon Gambito could leave the field as winners, despite BETCO having more of the ball for most of the match.
