Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Humberto Ubendu kicked off to start the match. After 7 played minutes Humberto Ubendu rounded Yutuyaco's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. When Iker Illan fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yutuyaco's protests and gave Iker Illan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Iker Illan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Teofilio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Eguen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Manuel Eguen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Yutuyaco's Manuel Eguen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Ubendu in the 18th minute of play. If Humberto Ubendu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Yutuyaco getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Fulgencio Balesio hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Yutuyaco's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Ubendu came free, but Manuel Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severo Ekain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Astor Bermund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Astor Bermund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Ekain in the 24th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Humberto Ubendu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manuel Eguen, 2-0. If Benito Teofilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Yutuyaco's zone, Humberto Ubendu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Eguen came out of the goal and Humberto Ubendu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Severo Ekain made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Arnulfo Ellande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Ubendu in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Eguen saved Yutuyaco from getting behind. Severo Ekain kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Humberto Ubendu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Ubendu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Manuel Eguen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes, Suriyaco's Victorio Ler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manuel Eguen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Suriyaco reached it. After some careless play in the Yutuyaco defense, Benito Teofilio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Eguen. The Yutuyaco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Eguen should have stopped the shot. Generoso Frantzes's late challenge caught a Suriyaco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Generoso Frantzes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Suriyaco's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Iker Illan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Ekain in the 85th minute of play forced Suriyaco's goalkeeper Astor Bermund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Yutuyaco booed when Suriyaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Ler didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Suriyaco fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yutuyaco had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
