When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Bengt-Åke Torsberg made the kick off in the second half. Samuel Granberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Oskar Björkqvist in the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Emil Bjursell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. The SAIPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Granberg should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute, Per-Oskar Björkqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When SAIPA's Bengt-Åke Torsberg, in the 93rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for SAIPA. SAIPA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
