In the 16th minute, Sven Ambjörnsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucas Hegg. The goal made the score 1-0. After 20 minutes, Örjan Falkrans made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Norrlands Guld's Karl-Ove Wiklund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carl Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Wiklund having to interfere. Karl-Ove Wiklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Örjan Falkrans in the 31st minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Norrlands Guld's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Falkrans came free, but Karl-Ove Wiklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Ove Wiklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Falkrans in the 37th minute of play. Rune Valrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th minute, Sten Helander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 53rd minute, Jon Björk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sven Ambjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 69 minutes, Carl Jakobsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skälvik RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Jakobsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute Joakim Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Hegg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Ove Wiklund made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Carl Jakobsson sent off a good shot on target. After 77 minutes of play, Skälvik RK's Jon Björk made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Ove Wiklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Carl Jakobsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Karl-Ove Wiklund to make any attempt to save it. Carl Jakobsson struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Karl-Ove Wiklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skälvik RK. In the 94th minute Jon Björk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Ove Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jörn Grelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Although Norrlands Guld had been in control for most of the match, Skälvik RK still came away with the win.
