Johnny Banks didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Örjan Björk went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Örjan Björk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johnny Banks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Di Feng Zheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Wiktor Ekström made a huge save. Johnny Banks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Björk in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Örjan Björk in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johnny Banks prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Di Feng Zheng in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wiktor Ekström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Johnny Banks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Örjan Björk in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Malmö White Knights's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alf-Inge Sørum was slow to take the kick. During this time Åsbro Flåsegutter's players had a chance to rest. After 25 played minutes Åsbro Flåsegutter got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Castro. In the 25th minute, Júlio Castro fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Elvijs Presley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wiktor Ekström was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the game, Elvijs Presley recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wiktor Ekström. Elvijs Presley showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Björk in the 33rd minute of play forced Malmö White Knights's goalkeeper Johnny Banks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Örjan Björk notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Malmö White Knights's Johnny Banks. Elvijs Presley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Wiktor Ekström made a huge save. 42 minutes into the match, Malmö White Knights's Elvijs Presley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wiktor Ekström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elvijs Presley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wiktor Ekström having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.
