Birger Olsman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Peede in the 2nd minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Malmö White Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Gustavo Lantaño came free, but Birger Olsman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Victorio Colipi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eddie Gallin. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Alonso Venturino managed to get in a good position for a shot. U. de Tarapacá's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonso Venturino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Olsman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Eddie Gallin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victorio Colipi. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Malmö White Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Peede came free, but Birger Olsman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birger Olsman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Peede's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Ove Granqvist hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes Malmö White Knights got a freekick which was hit by Ove Granqvist. After 27 played minutes, U. de Tarapacá's Marco Colipi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Birger Olsman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in U. de Tarapacá reached it. The supporters of U. de Tarapacá booed when Malmö White Knights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Granqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, U. de Tarapacá's Carlos Gustavo Lantaño got a free kick in the 29th minute. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Xalvador Quijada with Blanco Paris as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Gerardo Peede sped through Malmö White Knights's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Birger Olsman. When Gerardo Peede came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the U. de Tarapacá fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Peede couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Gerardo Peede left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U. de Tarapacá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The Malmö White Knights players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. U. de Tarapacá were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Peede to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Gustavo Lantaño blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Birger Olsman having to make a save. Victorio Colipi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Gallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Alonso Venturino hit a great ball. If Eddie Gallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blanco Paris made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Malmö White Knights's Ove Granqvist. In the 69th minute of the game Xalvador Quijada made a throw-in which Blanco Paris played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Gallin in the 72nd minute of play forced U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Victorio Colipi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Peede in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Birger Olsman saved Malmö White Knights from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Carlos Gustavo Lantaño got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Malmö White Knights getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ove Granqvist hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Peede in the 92nd minute of play forced Malmö White Knights's goalkeeper Birger Olsman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over U. de Tarapacá could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Malmö White Knights throughout the match.
