The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wiktor Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Olsman in the 5th minute of the match. Emanuel Sundberg made in the 7th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Folke Johansson. Sonny Söderström made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Örjan Björk sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Åsbro Flåsegutter's Örjan Björk got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Linus Hasselqvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wiktor Ekström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Örjan Björk got free with Sonny Söderström in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Strömnäs BK defense, Örjan Björk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sonny Söderström. The Strömnäs BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sonny Söderström should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Åsbro Flåsegutter's Örjan Björk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sonny Söderström. Sonny Söderström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Örjan Björk in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sonny Söderström saved Strömnäs BK from getting behind. Strömnäs BK's Sonny Söderström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Strömnäs BK from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Strömnäs BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alf-Inge Sørum was slow to take the kick. During this time Åsbro Flåsegutter's players had a chance to rest. Örjan Björk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sonny Söderström came out and tried to block the shot, but Örjan Björk slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Strömnäs BK's Walter Lind got a free kick in the 45th minute. Örjan Björk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sonny Söderström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Örjan Björk to strike the kick off in the second half. A nice corner shot did that Alf-Inge Sørum got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sonny Söderström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sonny Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Castro in the 57th minute of the match. Sonny Söderström came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Åsbro Flåsegutter's Örjan Björk. But to his dismay, Örjan Björk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Júlio Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Åsbro Flåsegutter's Rickard Vallander was substituted for Bertil Strandberg. Åsbro Flåsegutter made a substitution. Kent Ahlquist replaced Jonas Lundin. Sonny Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Björk in the 68th minute of play. Wiktor Ekström made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Gustav Jönsson sent off a good shot on target. Sonny Söderström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Örjan Björk's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. If Örjan Björk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Strömnäs BK's Sonny Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Örjan Björk in the 77th minute of play. Åsbro Flåsegutter's Jakub Michalski was substituted for Örjan Björk. After having played for 87 minutes, Sebastian Biörling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åsbro Flåsegutter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Biörling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jakub Michalski came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Åsbro Flåsegutter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakub Michalski couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Åsbro Flåsegutter getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Sebastian Biörling hit a great ball. Sonny Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Ahlquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Åsbro Flåsegutter were the better team. Åsbro Flåsegutter's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
