After 40 played minutes Malmö White Knights got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Öfverman. After having played for 41 minutes, Albert Göransson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sunkens Surtröjor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Göransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jesse Pinkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Enström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Eddie Gallin made the kick off in the second half. Torsten Ljungberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Gallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Sven-Erik Hermansson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sunkens Surtröjor's Torsten Ljungberg. Torsten Ljungberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Sunkens Surtröjor booed when Malmö White Knights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie Öfverman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes in the game Albert Göransson got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. With a little luck, Malmö White Knights's Jesse Pinkman got control of the ball when Sten Enström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sten Enström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Jesse Pinkman made a huge save. The supporters of Sunkens Surtröjor booed when Malmö White Knights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Granqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Magnus Anundsson in the 72nd minute of play forced Malmö White Knights's goalkeeper Jesse Pinkman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Magnus Anundsson's late challenge caught a Malmö White Knights's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Magnus Anundsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Sten Enström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Many of Sunkens Surtröjor's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Sunkens Surtröjor may have spent more time on the ball, but Malmö White Knights were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
