Varsity Blues Velletri's Angelo De Palma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Belfiore in the 15th minute of play. Achille Mazzone hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Carlo Belfiore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo De Palma having to make a save. In the 26thth minute of the game Amerigo Baur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taleacotium's Ciro Lo Iacono was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Varsity Blues Velletri's Angelo De Palma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Belfiore in the 28th minute of play. Ciro Lo Iacono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amerigo Baur in the 30th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Taleacotium got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Teti. Angelo De Palma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Melfi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Varsity Blues Velletri's Angelo De Palma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Belfiore in the 42nd minute of play. Carlo Belfiore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo De Palma having to interfere. Achille Mazzone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlo Belfiore made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Taleacotium's Carlo Belfiore dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The audience was convinced that Carlo Belfiore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo De Palma was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Ciro Melfi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Angelo De Palma made a huge save.
