An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Baur in the 8th minute of play forced Quei Braavos Malefici's goalkeeper Francesco Pani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Emiliano Caneva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the game, Amerigo Baur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Francesco Pani. Amerigo Baur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Carmine De Nicola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Angelo De Palma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ettore Tarantini's late challenge caught a Quei Braavos Malefici's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ettore Tarantini helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Varsity Blues Velletri getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ettore Tarantini hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Bernardo Berti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo De Palma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carmine De Nicola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francesco Pani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Baur in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Quei Braavos Malefici getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Emiliano Caneva hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the game, Emiliano Caneva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quei Braavos Malefici's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varsity Blues Velletri the free kick. After a rather tough play, Quei Braavos Malefici's Emiliano Caneva got a free kick in the 34th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amerigo Baur to make the kick off. Dino Minichiello took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo De Palma. Angelo De Palma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Amerigo Baur put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Francesco Pani. Quei Braavos Malefici's Francesco Pani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Mancini in the 62nd minute of play. Carmine De Nicola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Angelo De Palma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinando Ruzzi hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 73 minutes in the game, Dino Minichiello fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Angelo De Palma having to interfere. Angelo De Palma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine De Nicola, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 83rd minute, Amerigo Baur made a precise shot to the right of Francesco Pani. Quei Braavos Malefici's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Francesco Pani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Baur in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Quei Braavos Malefici's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Mazzone came free, but Francesco Pani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Amerigo Baur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francesco Pani. Quei Braavos Malefici's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amerigo Baur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Varsity Blues Velletri walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
