With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fritz Dorneth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. PoznanGalaxy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oalo Kara in the 12th minute. Oalo Kara made a great header on PoznanGalaxy's corner, it was just that Gohfeld's Fritz Dorneth managed to reach the ball for a save. 15 minutes into the match, Gohfeld's goal looked a bit too open when 巩翔傲 came free, but Fritz Dorneth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Peter Grommers notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gohfeld's Fritz Dorneth. After 33 minutes Gohfeld's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oalo Kara who took care of the corner kick. Oalo Kara made a great header on PoznanGalaxy's corner, it was just that Gohfeld's Fritz Dorneth managed to reach the ball for a save. 巩翔傲 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38thth minute of the game Ralph Perschke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PoznanGalaxy's Henning Heringer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Karl Brunner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Grommers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henning Heringer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralph Perschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

If Karim Adeyemi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henning Heringer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karim Adeyemi in the 61st minute of the match. Henning Heringer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karim Adeyemi in the 65th minute of play. Fritz Dorneth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oalo Kara in the 68th minute. Fritz Dorneth was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 巩翔傲 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 72 minute of play. PoznanGalaxy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
