Spectators: 8261 (Terracing: 6303, Seating: 1933, VIP seats: 25) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silverio Hanot started the match with the kick off. Karim Adeyemi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Silverio Hanot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karim Adeyemi during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Silverio Hanot made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 12thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Fritz Dorneth would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Silverio Hanot put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fritz Dorneth. 17 minutes into the match, Hunteburger SV's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Perschke came free, but Waldemar Pietrowiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karim Adeyemi in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldemar Pietrowiak saved Hunteburger SV from getting behind. After 30 played minutes Hunteburger SV got a freekick which was hit by Phil Pflug. A collision led to Gohfeld getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mark Toppel hit a great ball. Gohfeld's Fritz Dorneth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Andersen in the 38th minute of play. Enrique Langanki made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ralph Perschke immediately put the ball in play. Waldemar Pietrowiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Toppel in the 41st minute of the match. Waldemar Pietrowiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Perschke in the 43rd minute of play. Hunteburger SV's Waldemar Pietrowiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Perschke in the 46th minute of play. Karim Adeyemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Pietrowiak having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ralph Perschke to strike the kick off in the second half. Waldemar Pietrowiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralph Perschke in the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Mark Toppel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldemar Pietrowiak. Hunteburger SV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mark Toppel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Hunteburger SV's Waldemar Pietrowiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Perschke in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute Silverio Hanot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fritz Dorneth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fritz Dorneth came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Hunteburger SV's Björn Andersen. But to his dismay, Björn Andersen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 64 minutes, Fabian Stöckl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hunteburger SV and the Gohfeld players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Fabian Stöckl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fritz Dorneth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silverio Hanot went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Fritz Dorneth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levi Erler, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Karim Adeyemis short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Waldemar Pietrowiak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 75th minute, Björn Andersen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fritz Dorneth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Andersen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waldemar Pietrowiak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karim Adeyemi in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralph Perschke in the 93rd minute of play forced Hunteburger SV's goalkeeper Waldemar Pietrowiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hunteburger SV fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gohfeld had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
